Wellington Shire Heritage Network

Call by our table to check out the Wellington Shire ANZAC database of those who served in World War I.  This is used to provide new street names to the Shire.  We will have books from member groups, and would be delighted to connect you with those best placed to help with your local enquiries.

If you find a name on the Cenotaph and would like more details, visit the Wellington Shire Heritage Network stand at the Expo.  They will have their WSHN ANZAC Database for the WWI enlistments which they will check for you.

They also have a copy of the out-of-print and difficult-to-find book Fear not that Ye have died for Naught : A history of the Sale War Memorial Fallen 1899-1945, by Ross Jackson, Gary McCulloch and David Thewlis, 1997.
