Getting there: The Dome in Geelong is easily accessible by train from around Victoria – it’s a Vline Velocity train from Melbourne to Geelong (about an hour) and The Dome is just a couple of minutes stroll from the Geelong Railway Station through Johnstone Park.

Research: Why not do some research in the Geelong Heritage Centre and make a day of it?  The Centre is open from 9.00 am – 5.00 pm.  During the afternoon, as part of National Family History Month, members of the Geelong Family History Group will be on-site to assist with your research.  The Heritage Centre has an massive archive of Council records from the Greater Geelong Region, together with Commercial, Private, Business, and Church records.  Take time to look at their amazing collection – you might be pleasantly surprised and keen to search some of their collection!

And if you’re a Senior, why not make use of one of your free return train trips to visit Geelong?

So many opportunities and a chance to attend the NFHM Closing ceremony – why not join us?
