Family History Connections (FHC) is the new registered business name of the Australian Institute of Genealogical Studies Inc.

Family History Connections is a Library and Reserch Centre located at Unit 1, 41 Railway Road (corner of Queen Street), Blackburn VIC 3130.  It is opposite the Blackburn Railway Station and two bus stops.

Staffed by volunteer members, the Library holds extensive resources for the family history researcher, including free access to major genealogical databases.  FHC Services include Starting Out classes, a research service, personal help with research, educational talks and Interest Group meetings.

There is a quarterly magazine The Genealogist and a monthly e-newsletter.

Our website has a Members’ Area containing indexes and resource guides.
